My friend uses a Mac and produces a newsletter in QuarkXpress.
I'm planning on helping him with it, he'll be me the file and I'll be
ajusting/adding things.
Only I'm on a PC with Windows XP pro, before I go out and buy Quark
Xpress for PC, will it be able to read a Quark file produced on a Mac?
Cheers

It will be fine, but make sure you both have the same fonts, or Quark will
start substituting, and what you see will be different from what he
produces. It might take some trial and error before you figure out what
works best, so it might make sense for him to give you a printout as well,
so you can compare.
If he's going to give the files to you on a floppy, make sure he formats the
disk in PC format; the mac will read and write to that fine, but if he gives
you a mac formatted disk, you won't be able to use it.
I'm Probably Not Here

Many thanks to all who replied, meant to say he's e-mailing it to me so
that should be OK by the sounds of it.
I'll get him to let me know what font's he uses.
Cheers all
