Hi,
(please excuse the posting in this group, most other WinXP groups seem to be
incactive ...)
As part of a software installation I have to install a driver (WinRT from
BlueWater Systems) which allows access to the parallel port via IOPorts.
The manual way is updating the parallel port driver in the hardware manager
and entering the path to the vendor-supplied inf file of the driver.
Unfortunately there is no setup.exe so that an automatic installation without
user interference is not possible.
Is there a way to automatically and silently install/replace a driver if only an
inf file is available?
Thanks and best regards,
-Rainer
