I just bought a new computer with a larger hard drive, I
would like to transfer info from my old one to my new one
but i dont know how, I was using 98 se now im using XP
pro. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mark,

If you can network the machines, the FASTWIZ is your best option. See:

Otherwise, pull the hard drive from the old machine and set it up as a slave
in the new machine. Copy your data files across.

Put the old hard drive in the new computer, as a slave, if its on the same
cable as the new one. Turn on the computer and XP will recognize the drive.
You can copy your data over, or you can leave it in.

You can also check out XP's Files and Settings Transfer Wizard.
