Installing XP Pro - txtsetup.sif

I'm upgrading from 98 to XP Pro ... in the middle of
installation my system locked up ... got a blue screen.
Had to 'hit any key' to coninue. Went to black screen and
stayed there over 5 minutes. Had to power system off.
It tried to continue install after reboot ... but got the
following message ...
INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing. Status 14,
setup can't continue.

appreciate any help you can give.

When you turn the computer on and setup starts, do you have the option not
to have it try and fix the install that locked up, but to start the install
from scratch?
