XP firewall

Jim,

My guess is that you and your daughter are running
different versions of MSN - yours being the newer one.
Apparently the newest version has a block on the
connection that prevents changes to it's properies.

I had the same problem, and since MSN denies that the
problem is their connection, you have to add a connection
in Internet Properties.

Get in touch with MSN and tell them that you cannot
change the properties. Ask if you can set up your own
connection and find out what information you need to do
so. From there, you should be able to enable the
firewall without a problem.
