I have an Access database on my Win 98 laptop. I put the
file on a floppy and my XP machine will recognize the disk
but when I try to copy the file to my Hard Disk it
get "Cannot copy [filename]: Date Error(Cyclic Redundnacy
Check)". I can take the same disk to my XP machine at
work and it copies fine. Any Thoughts????

Hi,

Probably means the heads are not lined up the same on those machines.
Niether may be "out of spec", there is little you can do to fix it other
than installing a new floppy on the machine that does not match the others.
