Event ID: 454

In my Event Viewer, I have a recurring error that I have
been unable to find out any information about:

Source: ESENT
Category: Logging/Recovery
Event ID: 454
Description: Catalog Database (1040) Database
recovery/restore failed with unexpected error-551.

I have checked the XP Resource Kit, Knowledge base,
TechNet, and cannot find out anything. When I click on
the link from Event Viewer, it goes to the Microsoft page,
but says there is no information about this event. Can
someone out there help me??? Thanks.

Error -551 is ET_errConsistentTimeMismatch: "database last consistent time
unmatched". Esent is the database that is used to store Windows catalogs -
the stuff that guarantees that all of your system files are signed by
trusted sources. Evidently there's some inconsistency with one of the
databases.

The catalogs should be under windows\system32\catroot*. You might find a
more detailed log there.

Beyond that, I'm afraid I'm not much help. :-(
