I have problems connecting to AOL 9.0 on my wireless
network. The computer connected directly to the router &
DSL modem works, the 2nd computer on the wireless does
cannot access 9.0. Only 8.0 works on it. AOL Tech
Support said I might have some firewalls. How can I find
this firewalls? Do I delete them? Please help! Thanks

Presuming that both computers are running XP -- this is, after all, a
newsgroup for Windows XP -- you would know if you had a firewall because you
would have installed it yourself. Even XP's own Internet Connection Firewall
is not activated by default; you must activate it manually.

Greetings --

Only you would know what kind of firewall _you_ have purchased and
installed. WinXP's built-in firewall cannot be a factor, because AOL
deliberately made their software incompatible with it: it cannot be
enable on an AOL connection.
