create zipped compressed folder

I am trying to create a compressed zipped folder so I can
move files into it. When I click on File menu and point
to New, no item appears for Compressed (Zipped)Folder.
It automatically creates new folder which is not zipped.
Then when Send is selected and send to Zipped folder
selected it prompts that a location must be associated
with zipped folders. This results in prompt that I need
to sign up and register for WinZip security program and
register to try it out.
I am wondering if something is missing on my create new
file menu help topics all instruct to "on file menu,
point to New, then click Compressed (zipped) folder.

You can re-enable the Compressed Folder entry in TWEAKUI.EXE >
Templates. TweakUI is available from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp.
