I like a program called xteq. It has a lot of toys, the
related one is the "behind your back" wizard. It finds
everything, registry, startup folder, ini files, the
entire set. You can set each program not to start anymore,
very easy way to manage all the startup tasks.

Its a free tool, and some of the settings can fubar the
machine (it will warn you which ones are expert only). I
am not in any way associated with them =) its just one of
the many freebies I like.
