I've had windows XP Home Ed. installed for about a month.
Recently I started to get a message everytime windows
starts. It has an (!) on the left side of the window and
says "Clip Gallery is now configured to run on your
computer". I hit "OK" and and it disappears but it shows
up the next time I start up. Even when I click the "close
window" box it goes away but the next time I start up,
it's back. Any suggestions? I can't get rid of it.

Clip Gallery doesn't come with Windows. It was probably installed with some
third-party app.

In any case, it somehow got configured to launch at startup. You can use
"MSCONFIG" (go to Start\Run and enter "MSCONFIG" without the quotes) to try
and keep it from running at startup.

Thanks, that seems to have cured it.
