Hello Group,
XP Pro SP1, IE 6 SP1 and OE6. No domain (workgroup). When I try to prevent
users from opening attachments, by configuring User Configuration -
Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Internet Explorer -
Configure Outlook Express: check Block attachments and enable this
policy --> the setting has no effect [ users can change the setting in OE ].
Other settings work fine. E.g. in the same key "Disable AutoComplete for
forms".
And yes I did update Group Policy (even rebooted).
Does anybody have an idea, why this does not seem to work? Are there any
dependencies on other settings, services running? Thanks for any pointers.
