virus

I have a virus in my sdgoije.exe file. It says to delete
the file to get rid of the virus. Is that a system file?
Will it hurt my computer if I delete that file?

The virus is w32.spybot.worm.

The file is created by the worm and should be deleted. It is not needed by
Windows for anything at all.

There are some directions for manual removal steps that have to be
performed in addition to the repairs your antivirus program will make.
