I hit Control - Alt - Delete , and nothing happens. Any

Hi Rob,

Does the task manager open if you right click on the taskbar and choose Task
Manager?

Hi Rob,

Start/run cmd, from the prompt, run this:

copy %windir%\system32\taskmgr.exe %windir%\system32\taskmgr1.exe

Close the command prompt, then start/run taskmgr1.exe to open Task Manager.

Then try to locate the virus that's on your system and remove it. Both Klez
and Yaha can cause this behavior.

You are infected with the W32 Spybot worm.

Thanks for your help. I followed all the suggestions
but still can't get rid of the darn thing. Seems the
virus definitions only pertain if you are using Norton.
I am using eTrust AntiVirus that I got off of OTG Web. I
disabled System Restore, but that was about as far as I
could get. Would appreciate any further suggestions.
