On one of our computers, sometimes it boots up and runs XP
okay, the next time it asks for a boot disk. Not having a
boot disk, the kids insert the XP upgrade installation CD,
and eventually XP comes up. I don't understand how it
boots up one time and not the next. Any suggestions?
They have completely reinstalled XP a couple of times.

Hi,
Boot the WinXP CD, run the Recovery Console, from the command prompt run
