search from start bar gone

I assume by start bar you mean the tools bar at the top of
your IE browser window. If you right click on a blank area
just to the left or right of where it used to be you can
then click customize and the search icon should be in the
left panel and you just transfer it to the right one and
there it is. As for your scan problem it is incorrect as
you have typed it. it should be sfc /scannow Notice
the space after sfc and before the / . Good luck.
