My laptop, a Toshiba, running XP Pro has lost my Icons and taskbar when
opening up. Ctrl-alt-delete works and I can start any program from
there. This is how I got into Netscape to send this. I need to know how
to get the desktop working again. Thank you.

Visit http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and scroll down to
Item No. 195 (right column), click on "Restore Desktop Icons and =
Taskbar".

Install the registry fix, then reboot your computer.
