Hi Don, if you doulble click a .mpeg file and it tells you that there's
nothing associated with that extension, you can choose 'Select the program
from a list' and scroll down, highlight Windows Media Player, make sure that
'always open with this program' is checked, and say ok.
You could also rename the file extension to .mpg instead and media player
should open.

Using Windows Media player.
It should download the correct codecs needed.
