unable to change password on xp box on 2000 advanced server

[TODD]

Error message "You do not have permission to change
password" on a windows xp box running 2000 advanced server.
I have already checked the group policy permissions and
everything on both server and workstation looks ok.


Any ideas?

Specifically what have you checked where ?
The account in its properties does not have the attribute
set the is something like Do not allow to change pwd ?
