Media Center TV / I. Explorer multi-tasking

I'm running an HP864N - Pentium 4 2.6GHz - NO Hyperthread.
Is it possible to keep TV open in Media Center and run
another program such as Internet Explorer without Media
Center minimizing with only sound out? Now, I loose
visual TV once another screen is activated (TV sound
continues from minimized Media Center).

Are you running Media Center full screen, or do you have it windowed when
you open other programs?

No idea - you could try posting in the correct place - these groups are for
vanilla XP questions only they do *NOT* deal with MCE queries. You will
recognise the MCE groups as they will have 'media centre' somewhere in the
name.
