Hi,
I have windows xp home edition as operating system. I
know it is 32 bit operating system and not a 64 bit
opertaing system, however I need to know that is there any
tool to find that is is 32 bit operating system.
Anything similar to msinfo or winiver or in registry.
Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Thumbs down for win32balster virus creator.

Shiva,
If you right click on My Computer and choose Properties, or hold down the
Windows key and press Pause/Break on your keyboard, if it says 64 bit, then
you have the 64bit version. Otherwise, you have the 32 bit.

See http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm, Line 258, Right column
for a utility that does exactly that. Its a little tongue in cheek fun, but
it does work. There is an EXE and VBS version. For the VBS version, right
click the file and select Edit to see what a 64 bit user would see :-)
