XP security upgrades

Downloading XP security upgrades through a dial-up modem
is impossible. Microsoft Telephone Support says it will
help, but leaves me in infinite "hold." And if there's
an e-mail contact on the Microsoft site, I can't find
it. Can anyone tell me how to get XP security updates on
CD, before I throw this piece of Windows garbage into the
trash and buy a Macintosh?

Go to another computer that has high speed internet access.
Use the Windows Update Catalog, download and burn to CD:
