Hi, there,
I am trying to configure my computer so that I can connect
to VPN router. I need to run "secpol.msc " to change the
IP Security Policies on Local Computer. But I find that
in winXP home edition, I can not find "secpol.msc ". What
should I do? Thank you
Yi

Both XP Home and XP Pro have the capability for PPTP VPN,=20
but only XP Pro has the capability to create user policies which=20
is required to setup an IPSEC tunnel to the router.
In XP Home Edition, you need to bring up a blank MMC console=20
and add the IP Security Policy Management and save it as secpol.msc=20
in the system32 directory.=20
