I've lost the search bar that used to appear below my IE
page. There was a bar running below the page and above
the taskbar and when I did a search, it would say OPEN
and display the address there as well as in the address
bar at the top of the screen. There was a green search
bar that would fill as the search was continuing and then
say DONE upon completion. This no longer appears although
the searches are completed with no problem. How can I set
this to appear again? Thanks!

You are possibly refering to the 'Status Bar', so;
Select the 'View' menu, is 'Status Bar' ticked?, if not tick it (click on
it).
Hope this helps !!
