Hi everyone. I'm tidying up my one-year old HP, and I'd like to uninstall
the software for WeatherBug. It came with my system (XP), and I've never
used it -- in fact, the website says the service is not available in Canada
(which is where I am). My problem is that when I try to remove it from
Add/Remove programs, I get a "Wise Uninstall" message that says
"Could not open INSTALL.LOG file." I've also looked in the folder where the
application resides, and there's no visible uninstall file for it. Can
someone please tell me the most efficient -- and the safest -- way to remove
it from my system?

Try installing the same version, if possible, on top of it and then
uninstalling it.
It might work.

Reinstallation followed by uninstall worked beautifully!
Thanks so much for your help, Stare.

Use SpyBot Search & Destroy to get rid of it. It is spyware/adware anyway.
Go to http://security.kolla.de/ to download it. Weatherbug is very
persistent...
