The delete user account process in Windows XP deletes the account from
the users list but leaves under Documents and Settings the deleted
account folders and subfolders and various files.

I tried deleting these with Explorer and deleted most but could not
delete the NTUSER.DAT and NTUSER.DAT.LOG files.

Please provide suggestions on how to delete these two files.

Thank you, Carlos

Reboot and try again. Most likely some process on the system has those
files open. We're having loads of problems of folks not being able to
unload roaming profiles for precisely the same reason.
