Hi. What are the difference between a retail version of
windows xp home and dell's version of windows xp that is
shipped with their computers? Thanks.

Dell's version should have all the necessary drivers already installed
for its product.

No idea..why are you posting this here anyway? MS doesn't customise XP for
Dell...Why aren't you asking Dell?

Dell's version is also BIOS locked so it can't be installed on non Dell
PC's. It will also have Dell logo's and maybe Dell diagnostics.
