when you boot up Xp for the first time
and you have your Log in screen
type CTRL+ALT+DEL around 2 times or so and your
traditional winNT log in window will show up
from there you will have the option to put in the admin
user and password, XP doesn't show the admin user in the
users group in the ctrl panel,
or from the log in screen unless you do the above
