notifications taskbar items

on the taskbar in notifications area next to clock.

properties -> taskbar tab.
[x]hide inactive icons.
pick [customize] button.
get listing of lots of stuff.

used to have the ebay toolbar but uninstalled it. the
icon is still in the taskbar notification listing.

how to delete the uninstalled icons? will [restore]
remove installed programs like anti-virus/security
programs?

small VB Script utility will clear the past items entry for you. Save the
file to your hard drive, then double click it. VBS files can be opened in
Notepad to see their contents.
