screen freeze

After installing the patch for the blaster worm,
everytime i run my system, the screen freezes. Then
everything dissappears and comes back, and all the
programs that i have been running is gone.

It sounds like you are hitting a STOP (blue screen) error. You can try
opening Control Panel (in classic mode), and then going to Administrative
Tools \ Event Viewer to see what the exact error is.

Without knowing the exact details of the error, it would be difficult to
troubleshoot this.
