encryption and sercurity problems, computer failure

I created a file in win xp on my computer and encrypted
it under the properties option for the file. My
computer's motherboard then failed. I was able to get
all my info from the hard disk but when I tried to acces
the file it says " access denied ". I need the info from
the file but I do not know how to resolve this problem.
Any suggestions?

So far I have tried going into the propeties box and then
hitting details next to encrypt file and tried to add my
info to acces the file. this has not worked. I have
also tried to give myself permissions to the file through
other methods.

A note I need to make I the hard drive from the failed
motherboard is now attached to a motherboard from a
different manufacutre.

Any help or info would be appreciated.

Without a backup of the original Encryption Certificate Key, encrypted =
files
are unrecoverable as they will stay encrypted forever. There is no =
recovery
method since the encryption algorithm is now completely different with a =
reinstall
of Windows XP.
