I am using XP Pro with SP1 and SP1a but I do not have the
system restore tab in my system properties. Also, I
cannot get SR svc to start either. it keeps returning a
7023 error and says "access denied". I have tried looking
through the group policies but can find nothing
prohibiting SR from starting. I am, however, not terribly
familiar with the group policies and what exactly to look
for. Any one got a solution other than repairing or
reinstalling XP?
