Removing Icons from the Task bar

How can you get these icons that pop up on your task bar
some are ok but too many are not good! Thanks

Check within the individual programs themselves for an option to auto start
with Windows. If you can't find it there, click Start, Run and enter
MSCONFIG Go to the Startup tab and uncheck the item there.
