Activiation bug?

Folks,

Approx 30 days ago, I rebuilt my father-in-laws
commputer. in the process, my new compy of Win-XP had
not arived so I went ahead and installed my current
version without entering an activiation code.

I shipped the computer to thim and the O/S a few days
later. The reminder window has been popping up
lettinghim (us) know that we needed to activate this copy
of windows. When we click on the activate windows
button... its says "This copy of windows is already
active" and takes him back to the login screen..

I am simply trying to get to the activation window so my
Father-in-law can type in the cirrect activation code..

Any ideas?

Choose the option to activate by phone.
There will be an option to change the Product Key.
