I use Windows XP Home. I do not know much about
computers. I want to know how can I make a full backup
copy of my hard disk. With all the updates I have
downloaded, it wold take me 2 weeks to re -download in
case of another problem.
Thank you. I appreciate your help.

A drive imaging utility such as Ghost or Drive Image will do the trick.

In addition to backing up your hard disk, you can download the updates to
your hard drive so that you can save them off to a CD as needed.

To do this, open Windows Update and click "Personalize Windows Update" on
the left side. Check "Display the link to the Windows Update catalog", and
then go to Windows Update catalog.
