I installed an ATA adapter and a secondary hard drive
without any appparent problem. They both seem to work
normally, but now every few minutes I get a System Agent
error which reads 'access violation at address 100119c9 in
module SMARTDLL.DL. Read address of 011056e9', or 'access
violation at address 00f90o58 in module SMARTPLUGIN.DLL.
Write address' or something similar. Typically, there is
no option other than to X out the message and no
indication of what to do. I can find little information
about System Agent. Help! Thanks.

Did you have to install any drivers when you installed your ATA adapter?
Neither of those DLL's ships with Windows - this may be a problem with any
drivers you installed.
