After having my web browser replaced due to some spyware
problems (I've fixed them all but this one), I tried to
reinstall IE 6. I kept receiving error messages
concerning the web browser and to run setup at a later
time. Several attempts later, I checked out the
microsoft website and was advised to modify a registry
folder and to try to setup again. Did that, and it
didn't help. Everytime my computer reboots, I am
prompted to clean up my internet explorer settings
because IE 6 was removed, although everything works
fine. I have returned the registry key to its normal
state, and I still cannot reload IE 6 in full. Does
anyone have any suggestions?
