can windows xp home be ordered from microsoft in a
spanish version.? want to have it installed on machine
that was just purchased because the person that will be
using it can only read spanish. doesn't know a word of
english.!

Probably ... not sure what country you are in,but if you go to
http://www.microsoft.com/worldwide/ you can see the worldwide resources
of Microsoft and notice that there are Spanish versoins...but probably
sold primarily in countries for which Spanish is the major/predominate
language.

My recommendation: find a high-quality Microsoft re-seller your country
and ask them to provide you a version. Let them do the research for how
to source it in-country if Spanish not common in your country.
