Admin password.

How do I find the admin password in Win XP pro to use with
the recovery console?

I don't ever remember setting one, and now I need to reset
my MBR, and I can't find an admin pass to use in the
recovery console.

I've tried typing "blank" and tried "" (nothing), my user
accounts pass, and "administrator", but nothing happens.
Do you have links to jupiter jones site or kelly's korner?

jupiter is an MVP on this forum. So is Kelly. go to web and search
Marfer's XP notes. (don't remember the link) Kelly's Korner, Doug Knox and
the Tomsterdam are all there. Try "admin" or hit F8 on startup and just lay
on it til you get the screen for safe mode and/or last good start etc. go
in thru safe mode and change passwords. Again see Microsoft article #321305
