Error "The Server service is not started"

i had that problem too and it was fixed by
installing 'file & printer sharing for microsoft
networks' and 'client for microsoft networks' on my lan
network connection. right click your lan connection's
icon and go to properties, then install the stuff by
clicking 'install...'.
