No Security tab?

I have a home computer that used to have Windows XP Home
edition but was later upgraded to XP Pro. I now am no
longer able to share certain folders with the other users
here in my home network; it says the other users do not
have the proper permissions. I know that while I'm at
work, this is something that I set on the folder's
Security tab, but my folders on this PC at home don't
have this tab. I'm not sure if they ever did, even with
Home edition. Is this something that is only available
while connected to a domain? Because at home I'm in a
workgroup, not a domain.

I know that the file structure of the Hard Disk is NTFS,
I believe that makes a difference as far as setting file
permissions, but NTFS should mean that it should work,
right?

The folders that I want to share are the Shared Documents
folder and two folders that are contained in the My
Documents folder. I can see them on the network, but
can't connect to them. Am I going to be forced to go
back to Home edition to be able to access these again?

Go to Control Panel > Folder Options > View and uncheck
"Use Simple File Sharing" and click "Apply".
