For what it's worth, I recently bought Symantec's Norton Antivirus 2003. In
doing some searching on the web for the best deal I came across Amazon.com
which at the time was selling it for $40, but giving cash rebates totalling
$40 so the software is free - along with one year of virus definition
updates.
I'm not sure if they're still doing that, but it's worth a look if you want
to install virus software to prevent your computer from getting another
infection.
