Error Message that can't be read

When using Delorme GPS system, i encounter a long error
message on the dreaded blue screen, then the laptop turns
off. I can't read the message in time. Please advise how
to hold the error message.

Go into the system control panel (right click on my computer and select
properties, or else hit window-break), click on advanced, click on settings
for startup and recovery, and uncheck automatically restart in the system
failure section.
