NTbackup in Windows XP Home does not support backup to CD-
RW media. I have found other software that will backup
data, but none that will backup the system. The question
is - how can I create only the System Restore Disk,
(formerly called a Startup Disk) in Windows XP so that in
the event of a system crash I can get started again?

Thanks, Frank Finn

A workaround: create an ASR backup and then copy the backup data to a
CD or use the third-party backup tool to backup this data.
