View Full Version : MS Windows Cleanup Utility

I am having a problem with removing Norton Antivirus
software. I have to do it manually and the instructions
tell me to download MS Windows Cleanup utility, but there
doesn't seem to be a utility for Windows XP. I am not
sure if it is embedded in the XP software or not. If it
is embedded, how do I get to it, and if it is not
embedded, where do I get it?

Thanks

Mark

Nicholas,

I appreciate your help. This has been a problem for
weeks now. Believe it or not, I actually had NAV and NAV
Corp Edition on my machine at the same time. I thought I
got both copies off, but as I was trying to install
McAfee antivirus, it said I still have NAV CE on my
machine. If I read rnav2003 documentation correctly, it
does not work with NAV CE.

Any other thoughts or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
By the way, do you know what the MS Installer cleanup is?

Thanks again.

Mark

This link should tell you what you need to know. The download links all =

seem to point to non-XP Windows versions, but it is on the XP CD.
I'm about to see whether one of the other downloads is the same=20
executable, but I doubt they're the same some pages explicitly say not=20=

for XP.
