when I hit f3 to duplicate a dos command at the command
prompt it does not work. It worked at one time then quit.
Now it doesn't work at all. How do I fix this?

Try up/down arrow. I don't know if I had to set it up to do this, but
id does it.

You have to open the 'dos' window using the 'cmd' command and not the
'command' command.

Find the CMDINIT.BAT file on C: -- open it in Notepad -- and make sure it
still has DOSKEY in it.
