Logged on as administrator. I have an icon on my desktop
that I cannot delete. It says I do not have access to
the file or the disk is full. The disk isn't. I've gone
through the registry and removed all mention of the
program and icon. What can I do to get rid of it?
TIA,
Glenn

If you're running XP Pro, right click the shortcut and select Properties,
Security. Ensure that your username has "full control" permissions. If you
don't see the Security tab, go to Tools, Folder Options in Windows Explorer
and go to the View tab. Uncheck Use Simple file sharing.
