I keep being asked for my mail account ID & password

Whenever I open "F:\Documents and Settings\myname" on my
home PC, up pops a dialog box asking for my ID and
password to log on to my work Outlook email account (which
I sometimes access remotely at home).
I click cancel and then the same dialog box pops up again.
And again.
Then I am asked for my hotmail ID and password.

What is going on?

Sounds like email server problems.
