I don't need to use Windows Messenger because I am not bombarded even if i
get pop-ups.

yes.

i would recommend You use Windows Messenger, as with msn messenger you get
bombarded with pop-ups, if you don't use a firewall!

They work the same, its just that i get problems with msn messenger with
logging on, reports my username/password not valid or service is down,
nearly everytime!

But, with Windows Messenger i can log-on every single time, i need to find
out how to make Windows Messenger log-in everytime i re-boot, msn messenger
has this option, but Windows Messengere does not, which is strange.
