plz help me

i installed xp recently and its soo nice but i have a
problem and wish that u could help me deal with it.when i
shut down my computer it restarts later after a min or
even an hour i press the shut down icon not restart by
the way plz help me

Go to BIOS
Look for something like "Wake on LAN" and "Wake on ring", normally
under "Power" tab.
Disable them.
